I did contract for one company that paid to have a custom add-on to
mhonarc to provide the generate of pages that contained all messages
for each thread so users can read an entire thread from a single
HTML page. SSI could have been used, but they requested that SSI
was not viable and they also wanted the individual message pages to
be made available also.
I guess that a similiar solution can be applied for blogging type
archives. I.e. Perform an "off-line" SSI-type operation so a
static page is generated.
