I don't agree. Just as vim is a superset of vi, but doesn't do
everything the same, so nmh should become a superset of mh, which
doesn't do everything the same. The option should always be there for
backward compatability, perhaps the makefiles could have options for
"mh-compat" but we shouldn't be restricted by things that were designed
for a different era.
