I'm just concerned about people getting side tracked chasing
micro-optimizations. I am all in favour of seeing all of the 822/MIME
parsing code re-written. I just don't want to see anyone waste a lot of
time trying to optimize the code for things that don't matter.
Fair enough; tell you what. Let's design an API that permits those
micro-optimizations; if we need them, it will be easy to add them.
