think this falls under the last part of what i wrote: you're only
asking show to display one message, and you're getting the header you
were complaining about. if you "show 11 12", in order to see two
messages at once, i don't believe you'll see any headers.
Ok, yes, if I show more than one message, I no longer see the message
header. I think I have typically avoided this by looping over messages
rather than passing them directly to show so I can see which message I'm
reading.
Also, I wasn't complaining about the header being present, only that
while it was present, I couldn't actually see it without scrolling the
terminal; and I certainly didn't hope it came across as a complaint (I
considered it merely as an annoyance that perhaps I just didn't
understand how to get it to work correctly). :-)
