Doug,
The PEM WG meetings are attended by an average of about 40
people. The folks at CNRI have available the attendance lists naming
all the attendees, from which one could choose the union of all
attendees or the intersection of everyone who has attended more than
one meeting, or some other resaonable measure of membership as a
function of participation. To that I would tend to add the names of
folks who have contributed to the RFCs, but who may not always have
attended the WG meetings. Some prominent contributors to this mailing
list, people who have consistently engaged in serious technical
discussions, but may not have been able to attend many (if any) of the
PEM WG meetings, should also be added to the list (e.g., Bob Juneman).
You could compare the names on your sample against this list
and see what portion of these PEM WG members are represented in your
survey. I know from the mail we have seen that a number of the folks
who are on the list chose not to respond to your survey, and the
question is open as to whether any of the survey respondants would be
on the list I proposed.
