Yep, you're right that the poll here was of developers. This is the PEM
Developers list. Some of those who responded and I have also talked to
real live prospective customers. Both groups seem to have similar
priorities, and both are essential to PEM's success.
Your example addresses high risk business communications. These aren't
even the bulk of business messaging, much less of messaging in general.
We don't have absolute identification of the sender of every message now.
Business has managed to survive.
It's good that we disagree about what customers will want. That gives the
customer more options. I'm confident which they will choose. BTW, your
term "Security Enhanced Mail" is reasonable.
