Right. If you want it to be in maildir format you need a trailing slash:
#define MAILSPOOLHOME "/.mail/"
all emails will go to $HOME/.mail and that .mail won't be in Maildir
format. I think you should use procmail+dmail to deliver your mails on
Maildir format type of INBOX.
The standard dmail from UW doesn't deliver to maildir format mailboxes.
Just take on the slash and let procmail do it for you.
