Re: Delete a specific EXE

All I was asking is if there is a way to test for the presence of a given
filename attached to an email. I didn't think there would be, but I am new
to this, and wasn't sure. I am truly sorry that I wasn't born with a
complete understanding of procmail and MIME, and that I thought this list
might actually have people here who didn't have to try to be
self-glorifying condescending smartasses in their replies.
In defense of some, there were a few people who actually emailed courteous
suggestions and even a couple of good examples.
The last thing I expected was to have four or five self righteous
pretentious egotistical jerks belittle me over this question. But then, I
should have known better as I have seen it happen over and over to others
on this list when they have asked for help, and were not as gifted or
talented as you fine people who lurk here under the guise of offering
assistance. And over and over I have seen people ask for help *after* they
have read the f'ing manual, but didn't understand it as well as need be,
and like me were accused of not really reading it, rather than being
accepted for reading it but not understanding it.
I have been reading this list for a while, and have followed the discussion
about checking for a string of data in the body of the email. I wasn't
asking how to do that. I was asking if there is a way to check for a given
filespec of an attachment. I didn't think there would be, but then, I also
obviously overestimated the humanity that exists on this list.
With this I will bid all of you adieu, unsubscribe from this list, and
leave you to revel in the glory of your own greatness. But as a suggestion,
in the future you might try stuffing your egos someplace before answering
people who are new to procmail when they ask for help. For as great as you
all are, you do not know everything and are not God almighty, and you too
will one day need help with something.
One would only hope that you meet with the same level of courtesy and
professionalism that some of you routinely display here.
