Hello PROCMAIL-ers,
I am new to procmail; I am using it to reduce the amount of SPAM that
comes in via my Linux mailserver at home. So far, I have been moderately
successful, but I found that lots of SPAM is packaged as:
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
boundary="----=_NextPart_000_00E0_72B80A3B.C4030D48"
------=_NextPart_000_00E0_72B80A3B.C4030D48
Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
PGh0bWw+PGNlbnRlcj48QSBIUkVGPS
...
It appears that this is done specifically to frustrate the pre-processor
rule I have in my procmail ruleset to de-mime any Content-Type: text/*
with base64 encoding.
I am thinking of writing a script to throw out the multipart/mixed from all
messasges where there is only one part, but I suspect someone must
already have done that. Can anyone give me a pointer?
