| Perhaps I didn't make it clear. What I thought I said was that it worked
| until I deleted $HOME/Procmail/.procmail.log and .procmail.log.old and
| tried to have procmail recreate .procmail.log. I changed *nothing* else.
| Procmail refused to create the log file until I changed .procmailrc to
| define PMDIR prior to defining LOGFILE.
Strange. In the old days, all you had was LOGFILE=$PMDIR/.procmail.log at a
point in your rcfile where PMDIR was not yet set, yet procmail happily logged
to $HOME/Procmail/.procmail.log. Very strange.
It's an improvement that things are working explicably now.
