Sean, apologies ... I am both root and user on this machine and ran
procdiag as root before my last post.
Below is procdiag as user 'adam'.
My frustration stems from the fact that I had the folders working in
Sydney until September '03 when I returned to New Zealand where I had to
write a new .procmailrc after a reinstall. I keep wondering what I have
overlooked.
In the end, you are right - I may have to rewrite from scratch.
As it stands, procmail is being invoked because there is a logfile, and
commenting out the 'nuke the dupe' thing changed nothing. It is probably
a simple error somewhere - if you wish, I'll post the whole .procmailrc.
