There is a *simple* solution to this. Do not use gmail/googlemail to
post, only to receive. Use your isp's smtp and a gmail/googlemail
return addr. I do and that way I see all my list posts.
I never set a return address, largely because it causes problems on some
mailing lists. I don't use googlemail's smtp, so I'm not certain what you
are saying. Your message shows your gmail address, so as far as I can see,
that's just the way I'm using it.
