Hehe, I asked them twice today and got cluelessness both times. I tried

Register.com (30+ domains) for the last 4+ years...but something (IN TXT
record support) has got to improve for me to stay there. Yeah, yeah, I
know that I could host my own DNS... but I'm smart enough to know that I

Here's their latest reply (below)... maybe I just need to put in a support request to have them add the TXT records? (or did you try that?) I've submitted a ticket with the TXT record that I want, and we'll see if they add it.

(Dread changing registrars/SOAs - something always seems to go wrong. We were/are actually in the process of moving a dozen domains TO register.com because I find their system easy to work with...)

Dear Thomas Harold,

Thank you for contacting Register.com regarding adding TXT entry.

We understand that you wish to enter SPF TXT records for your domain. Please note that whatever changes you wish to do, you can easily do it through our online console i.e domain manager. You may change MX, IP, Alias and SOA. The changes takes place within few minutes and you need to allow certain time frame for the changes to propagate completely on the Internet.

If you are facing difficulties in changing any information, you may provide to us the entries. We will enter it for your domain.

If you have any further questions or encounter any difficulties with your domain name in the future, please respond using the link included at the beginning of this email. You can also contact a Customer Support representative 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at the numbers below.
