Section 2.3.4 limits the length of 'names' to 255 octets, it does not limit
the length of data fields.

According to RFC 1035, section 2.3.4. they are.
(Refer to http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1035.html)

To put more data into TXT RRs you can use just more of them.
