Perl is a nightmare imho , it seems to be a problem with every package written
in perl. This is why I hate perl (on the other hand, i do love perl :)
SPF must be made much easier to deploy! The ability to hack
Perl code and obsessive persistence should not be requirements
for getting SPF working!
Apparently, you know how to fix these things. Why not share your expertise with
those who can't? It's largely volunteer effort that makes the spf software
(although i've heard rumours that some get payed..).
I did some work on srs, mainly patching sendmail for use with libsrs/libsrs2,
but the few of us can't be expected to fix everything! We have real jobs and
partners too. So please, help us.
Join #spf on irc.pobox.com, share your enhancements, fill in the blanks and
communicate them back to the maintainers of software project X.
