This is all about ending up with a de facto standard - a specification that
becomes the standard because so many people implement it rather than any
other.
Which specification wins will be down to the choice of the "market" - the
people who will implement spf. Given that www.spf.pobox,com comes up first
in Google - that'll be the specification that gets implemented and
consequently will probably become the de facto standard.
