Why not decide now upon a new location, put the stuff needed in place,
and urge future implementations and others to use it?  That cannot be
worse than the present situation and would not prevent the "executive
director" from doing The Right Thing, would it?  If it were to provoke
something malicious, then so be it, IMHO.

So what's the harm?

The present state of affairs makes the SPF folks look silly, IMHO.
