Not that we allow anything outside of VCHAR plus SP, but
colon, underscore. slash, etc. are clearly allowed. Two
special cases: %% for "%", %_ for SP.
For a "BTFOOM" effect something like mx::%%%_/.claranet.de/27
should be ugly enough <ahudder />
