Interesting SenderID failure. It seems Jim is a subscriber to
spf-discuss, and my list postings are being bounced by
exchange.microsoft.com back to me.

For what it is worth, several weeks back, apparently POBox.com changed
their mailing list software to no longer add a Sender: header to
outgoing email. This breaks SenderID. To the best of my knownledge,
non of us in the SPF community, including Meng, had anything to do
with this change.

Its debatable if adding Sender to the emails coming through mail list
is appropriate or not, most people in ietf-smtp seem to think it probably
is not and it does mean loss of original Sender data. And as far as SID draft it - it does not in fact say that mail lists need to add Sender header field either.

But as far as pobox mail lists software, it certainly is not trying to be compliant with standards, for example just look at the List-Id it
adds and compare that to RFC2919 (and yes I told pobox people about
quite long time ago).
