Can I suggest that the logo should be as simple as possible, and therefore
should be limited in the number of characters?
Rather than SPFv1 compliant, can we use the same circle, color, etc, and
say: "SPF1 OK". I think it would be catchier. The longer word and
precision of the "v" is nice but increases the effort to
"grok" the logo, and its purpose is to be "catchy".
For completeness and precision, it is easy enough to make it a link
to an explanatory web page saying exactly the name of the test suite, etc.

I tested to convert the PNG to a GIF for old browsers and mobile best
practises, but as always I can't judge if the transparency is okay (my
PNG viewer has a black background, with that the PNG transparency is
invisible), see below.
Your converter got it wrong. I have now made GIFs from the originals.
Just assume a filename extension of ".gif". (There is still a slight
problem with the gap ring between the outer ring and the inner ball -- the
gap should be white, not transparent. But I'll fix that another time.)
