Re: Simple Network Paging Protocol

The protocol is similar enough to SMTP that I'm wondering if SMTP
couldn't be adapted for paging.  In particular, paging seems to be
very similar to what the SEND verb used to be used for.  And the
SEND/SAML/SOML/MAIL scheme might allow existing mail user agents to 
to originate pages, resulting in better integration than if a separate
protocol were used.
