any special handling of CRLFs". I believe that was mindlesly copied
from the old "verbatim" language. I've elminated it.
You should also eliminate the corresponding code in the minimal
parser.
It seemed fine to me. Can you define "botch"?
I don't have a machine-readable copy of the code, so it's hard for me
to verify, but I think it translates the stream as:

bar
baz
When the spec says it should be:
foo < bar baz
