From practical experience, I know that a lot of people will see this
(the previous) line prefixed with exactly the character commonly used for
quoting.
Now try to decide how to write an UA that deals properly with that
situation :-)
Quoting in text/plain is a rather poor convention that won't be perfect in
any nearby millenium; heuristics are probably no worse for text/paragraph
than for text/plain.
I suggest we don't try for perfection on this issue, and get
text/paragraph registered.
(hmmm.....that's the IETF subtree, where we keep "recommended" types.
Is there a reason to define the text/ietf.distasteful.* subtree? :-)
