Let's see where we are:
There seems to be a rough concensus that text/plain is currently
overloaded and something to disambiguate paragraph-formatted text from
line-formatted text would be useful. Any objections?
There seems to be some feeling that it is often preferable to have the
recipient do line wrapping (esp. for narrow display devices like PDAs and
cell-phones). Anyone wish to argue the opposite?
There seems to be a lot of sentiment that the quoting convention needs to
be more precise for paragraph-oriented text. Objections?
There is an open issue of whether to disabiguate by text subtype or by a
content-type parameter. If you not yet argued your preference, your
input would be welcome.
