Agreed: Vixie's proposal, like Feyck's, seems to accomplish much the same
outcome as RMX. There are tradeoffs among them; RMX requires a new
resource record, but the other two hit DNS harder, for example. The
similarities far outweigh the differences, though. I'm most familiar with
RMX, but would not disappointed if either of the others took hold.
For now, assuming no new or important side-effects occur to me, please
regard my support for RMX as support for any of the three.
