The vast majority of people will simply give up on email once
spam becomes too much trouble to deal with. I'll include ISP's in
that, too.
I'm not certain of this.
It's happening already to people I know. A friends grandmother set
But this is anecdote. It's got nothing to do with a meaningful prediction
about the email use of "The vast majority".
What amazes me is the opposition to anything *other* than short-term
band-aids.
I would be very glad to see a radical solution which does away with the
problem once and for all and has a sensible deployment path. Really. I'd
want to buy in tomorrow. Who wouldn't ? Band-aid salesmen I guess.
