No, SMTP and LMTP have exactly the same commands and extensions.

Perhaps I should have been more clear that its not just LMTP.
RFC4468 says that BURL 'extends the message submission protocol
on port 587 and MUST NOT be advertised by regulsr server on port 25'

But ok, perhaps RCTPSTATUS should not go with DATA and stay as
RCTP keyword if we want all existing DATA commands supported.

You can already send a message in multiple chunks using BDAT.

I don't see people supporting CHUNKING and I'd really like to see
more clear separation of what separation of what these chunks are.

An alternative to what I wrote is what some others prefer as in
specialized HEAD command (which is in fact what HTTP did for such
an extension).
