Those were the cries I remember hearing back then though. Aol
and all the rest of the commercial ISP's coming onto the net back
then was what laid bare that the UDP wasn't scalable. And it's
still not in the context of reputation. What does a good or bad
reputation mean in the context of a Yahoo! or hotmail? Not much.
