I'm quite concerned about badly administered DNSBLs. That's why I use
DNSBLs run by people I know and trust, rather than DNSBLs run by random
strangers.
Using SSP is a whole lot like using random DNSBLs run by strangers -- in
both cases you're asking someone who has no particular credibility
whether to discard your incoming mail. If you wouldn't do one, why
would you do the other?
Assumedly the first party has some desire to get their mail delivered.
That's a lot different than a RBL who might have an agenda, be lazy
or both. The first party always has the ability to correct the problem
too, unlike RBL's.
