As you can probably gather from my debates with you on MARID, SPF-Discuss
and other lists, this is exactly where we disagree.
We are engineers, if the spec is broken we can and we will fix it. If
the market mindshare is broken as it was with S/MIME vs. PGP I do not
know how to fix it.
Its not that market is not important, but I happened to think that as
engineers we should not come up with broken solutions, ask everyone to
deploy it and then have regrets year later. I think taking longer time
to do proper analysis and design is better.
