But since you insisted here is what you got for your efforts:
(words only): DOMAINKEYS
Standard Character claim: Yes
Current Status: An office action making FINAL a refusal to register the
                mark has been mailed.
Date of Status: 2005-03-23
Filing Date: 2004-01-28
...
PROSECUTION HISTORY
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2005-03-23 - Final refusal e-mailed
2005-03-23 - Final Refusal Written

I've been told by some people who are more into USPTO procedures that
there apparently exist an appeal procedure for "final refusal":
 http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/dcom/ttab/tbmp/

Note that I have no information as to if this is happening with Yahoo's
trademark application or not (but they still have time to file the appeal up until August and until that time the application for patent will still continue to be shown as "filed" and be in USPTO database even if nothing is being done). Also its not exactly as if appeals are readily granted, it appears to be rare thing and involves complicated process similar to a trial. And this can drag on for quite some time too...
