There are lots more. Admins who prefer security through obscurity may not
want to publish the RRs externally, for example.
Almost all of these limitations apply to one or more of the alternatives,

Does a bridge stay up because it looks pretty?
How many sky-scrapers do you see with boat docks on higher floors so that
people can still get in when it floods. How many cars float? This is
pointless.
Do you wish to propose an alternative or do you wish cease this effort for
some other reason?
