and that goes for pdf too, given that the irs uses it too :)
Drafts become RFCs, and RFCs live forever. PDF, or even HTML, is not
likely to last more than another 5-10 years.
Also, PDF would not be greppable. I have a robot listening to
ietf-announce, to let me know when somebody posts a Draft related to topics
I'm interested in; that would be difficult or impossible if the Drafts were
in PDF.
