Empirical evidence (as documented in the network operational
lists over the past 10 years) indicates that dual stack is
clearly more unstable.
about 3 years ago, I moved my entire dual-stack network to
single stack (v6) - with two exceptions... the IVI gateway
and the DNS/DHCP server.
