Personal opinion:
1. We shouldn't tolerate anonymous postings in any case.
2. ISOC salaries are utterly irrelevant to any IETF discussion.
It's just way out of line.
anonymity is sometimes useful
as the ietf is legally f(isoc), isoc salaries will be relevant to those
folk inclined to spend their tine on process, organization, and
omphaloskepsis.
and to judge by the message counts on this list, far more folk are
interested in process, organization, and omphaloskepsis than in
techhical subects.
