I made sure that my window is 78 characters and reran the test.
Well, it should actually be 80 character ... I suspect we get some of this
wrong. More to fix!
I backed out the one change in ~/.mh_profile
There are a number of one line changes in ~/Mail/.components/* all of
them being the addition of "From: %(localmbox)".
You might want to consider the following line instead (from the default
components file):
%<{from}%|%(void(localmbox))%>%(void(width))%(putaddr From: )
This makes the -from switch work. There are similar lines to make
the -to and -cc switches work.
Oh, the other change is that nmh older than 1.5 was installed during
the first 'make check'. Then I installed nmh 1.5 RC2, after which I
came back to do the 80 character test. Is it possible for 'make
check' to use things outside the build tree? If so, that has changed.
I think we did a pretty good job in making sure that nmh creates an
environment and only uses the binaries in the build tree. But we could
get that wrong, of course.
