I recommend putting the mail into a junk folder rather than discarding
it in case it matches other mail too.
Id rather think of a password which my friends could put in the subject line
to use to make sure their e-mail gets through and put into a certain folder.

* ! ^Subject: .*secretpasswordformyfriends
/dev/null
I think he meant more like:
# save my friends first
:0:
* ^Subject: .*secretpasswordformyfriends
known_friendly_mail_folder
# else junk anything containing elision
:0
* elision
/dev/null
# else fall off and let it go to $DEFAULT (ordinary mail)
Junking all email lacking a password is probably a bad idea...
you could miss a letter from your boss, or mail from the sysadmin
announcing a downtime, or lots of things depending on your situation,
and as era noted parenthetically:
(On the other hand, friends of yours who don't know
the secret password can never get through, and will believe you have
received their mail!)
Cheers,
Stan.
