program mailer as open source.
Does anyone know of if/how Procail works with the program.

You must be refering to postfix, the MTA written by Wietse Venema. The
FAQ on www.postfix.org says that it does and describes what variables
to set in postfix's configuration file.
Hi,
I don't think so. This is apparrently a commercial program that
has gone open source.

As originally stated its the first public release of Wietse's new mailer,
'Postfix' aka Vmail. Its not/was an IBM commercial program, apparently
Wietse gave it to them for development/distribution although he will still
be overseeing it for awhile.
I was on the site and read a bit about it all but didn't get to far into
the FAQ but apparently it does support procmail.
