I need to make it clear that I was posting in the context of the
recipient on virtual delivery, not saving outbound mail (the mere
suggestion of which would be a flogging offense in most shops).
Many of you know who I am and where I work, so I need that to be
clear before I get mistakenly flogged myself :-)
I seem to have inadvertantly opened a can of worms...
For clarity:
My questions on this subject arise form a single user, dialup
machine, situation. The only outgoing mail involved is my own.
I wanted an archive of my own outgoing e-mail messages. Nothing more
nothing less.
Era has indicated that is not possible without in some way hacking
sendmail. I may try that at some point.
