| If you want to let people opt out, then the RBL checking will need to be

I am almost positive sendmail versions from 8.10.x (?) have the ability
to exempt specific recipients (including plussed addresses) from at
least some checks via a "SPAMFRIEND" designation in access.db. Whether
that can exclude them from rbl checks or just the rest of access.db, I
don't know. I say "almost positive" because I haven't actually used it,
but searching for "SPAMFRIEND" in the top level README from the sendmail
source tells a little more. Of course that probably still requires
admin involvement. I have a facility for users to add entries to
*their* procmail whitelists with an email message (so they don't need
to know vi :-), but I don't think I'd be willing to subject maintenance
and rebuilding of access.db to their dynamic updates.

Reply to list please, or append "6" to "procmail" in address if you must.
Spammers' unrelenting address harvesting forces me to this...reluctantly.
