System-Wide Logs for Procmail?

2003-09-20 04:11:04
Hi, all.

I am fortunate to be running my own email server which means I have control
over the implementation of sendmail, procmail, spamassassin, etc.

I started off with .procmailrc files in each individual account on my
system, but soon realized that so much of what I want to do is independent
of the users. So I set up a /etc/procmailrc file, which I assume is the
"master control file" for procmail on the system, handling ALL emails passed
to procmail by sendmail.

It seems to work okay, but one thing I can't find is the LOGFILE for that
"stage" of procmail processing. I obviously have logfiles for each
$HOME/.procmailrc account setup (in $HOME/mail/log.procmail on my system. So
how to I set up and log the results of processing in the /etc/procmailrc
(system-wide) file?
