Mutt can read/write either. Open the mbox file([s] in mutt, tag each
message and copy them to the new box as /home/{user}/Mail/{box-name}/.
Set "folder" in .muttrc as /home/user/Mail/ first. Note trailing
slashes.
Yes, it's trivial in mutt. It's also trivial on the command
line with procmail/formail.
% formail -s procmail -m DEFAULT=/path/to/maildir/folder/ /dev/null < mbox
I do it all the time, also by alias to move the occasional false poz
from my spam folder to my real inbox.
There are also open-source perl scripts and such out there, but I don't
see the point, frankly.
