However, it is also no better than _smtp_client in that both violate
hostname rules (if you think they're relevent in this context).
Furthermore, the argument that this is a hostname, and therefore
should obey hostname rules, is only even vaguely tenable because the
spec uses an A record here.
It would seem better to me to use a TXT record (or a new RRtype, if
the spec ends up going that way).
