Thanks for the feedback. I am taking it into account as I do another
round of edits. Expect a 02.7 draft soon.
Don't know if it's already been caught but the 02.6 draft implied that the
mask section for the ip6: mechanism used a double slash, e.g.:
ip6:abcd::0//48
I think that will confuse people who expect to use a single slash for
netmasks.
The double slash would stay for specifying the mask for the a and mx
mechanisms.
So, before:
ip6:abcd::0//48
ip4:192.0.2.0/24
a/24//48
mx//48
mx/25
after:
ip6:abcd::0/48 ip6
ip4:192.0.2.0/24 ip4
a/24//48 for A RR's match a /24's worth, and AAAA RR's match
a /48's worth
mx//48 for AAAA RR's for the MX's, match a /48's worth
mx/25 for A RR's for the MX's, match a /25's worth.
