For "additional section" results, the rule is pretty simple:

If the SPF record contains an "a" or "mx" mechanism with no arguments,
irregardless of the prefix, the DNS server can send back the a and mx
records for the domain.

It can't do much more than that.  It could maybe try to figure out if
the arguments to "a" and "mx" happen to be names that it's authoritative
for, but that just seems like work.
