Not to my knowledge; it only swings into action if there's no all, so you
could define it up front and it wouldn't operate until all the
mechanisms had been exhausted.

Yes, it can, but you have to be unlazy and put an exp= everywhere.
With redirect the exp= can stay in one place.
Also if you want to change the default you have to do that everywhere.
With redirect the default goes in one place.
I added "redirect" for Philip Gladstone. Maybe he can defend it. :)
