No, they'd need to be fixed too.  It's not about what's easier but what is
correct.  If a program can't distinguish between '^Received:' and
'^Received' then it needs to be updated.  It could be a simple typo or
just laziness and assumption on the programmer's part.  In any case, it
just goes to show that programs that deal with email can't make
assumptions about the data that they receive.

Breaking of other programs over something that's so clearly incorrect
behaviour is a good thing.  Maybe as part of fixing this bug they'll
discover similar problems that they've made in other parts of their code.
