First off, most mailing lists use VERP and do not pass on the original
envelope from.  Therefore, you wouldn't be able to pick up that
address.

They use VERP to send a message to _you_.  Have you ever seen an
ezmlm-idx archive? But of course, the point is not where and how I
pick up the address.


Second, that address will only work for a matter of days.  It has
var less value to spammers than most other addresses.


TMDA, qconfirm already are protecting return addresses---what is in
SRS which is new and additionally useful for the original poster?
