While I agree that voices should be heard on the MARID list in order
for them to count, I think we also need to make sure that we keep a
calm tone. In my opinion, the RFC that results from MARID must be
usable by both OSS *and* commercial software and just about anything
else. Starting up a GPL or anti-corporate flame war is not productive
and should be carefully avoided.
