The problem with sender validation is spurious users can be created
at-will by spammers. Domain-level validation at least requires
registration and payment for a domain - such registration info can be
subpoenad and used to track down the criminals responsible for the
spam.
There are benefits to sender validation nonetheless - but they don't
require MUA upgrades. Consider this message, signed with PGP using
Windows Privacy Tools, all open-source despite that I'm using Outlook
2000.

Enticement email = spam, sorry. Using spam to advertise anti-spam
software is an irony I am not yet willing to support.
